Role :
The Service Manager manages the service operations for Wirtgen Group equipment, which includes brands like “Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm, and Kleemann”. This role is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining service efficiency, managing the service team, and supporting the sales team with technical expertise. The role plays a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting the company's overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Operations Management:
- Oversee daily service operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement and maintain service policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with the parts department to ensure the availability of necessary parts for repairs and maintenance.
Customer Support:
- Provide technical support to customers and address their service-related queries.
- Ensure timely and high-quality service delivery to meet customer satisfaction.
- Manage customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Team Management:
- Supervise and support service technicians and other service staff.
- Conduct regular training and development programs for the service team.
- Evaluate the performance of the service team and provide feedback.
Technical Expertise:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Wirtgen products and their technical specifications.
- Support the sales team with technical advice and product demonstrations.
- Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues.
Service Marketing:
- Develop and implement strategies to promote service contracts and maintenance programs.
- Work with the marketing team to create service-related promotional materials.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on service operations, including metrics on performance and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze service data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the service department.
- Promote a culture of safety among the service team.
