Role :
As a Techno-Commercial Head for Solar Electrical Projects, this role would encompass both technical and business aspects of solar energy projects. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, project management skills, and leadership abilities to successfully deliver solar energy solutions in a competitive market landscape
Responsibilities :
Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of solar electrical projects. This involves coordinating with various teams including engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), as well as subcontractors and suppliers.
Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including design principles, equipment specifications, installation procedures, and maintenance requirements. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Financial Analysis: Conduct cost-benefit analysis, financial modeling, and feasibility studies to assess the viability of solar projects. Evaluate the return on investment (ROI) and develop strategies to optimize project economics.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar energy sector. Build relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to expand the company's market presence and secure contracts for solar projects.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing solar energy installations. Ensure that projects comply with local, state, and federal requirements, including permitting and interconnection procedures.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns. Proactively address technical, logistical, and financial challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Leadership: Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and project managers. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and expectations. Cultivate long-term relationships by delivering high-quality solutions and exceeding customer satisfaction.
Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders. Present technical information and project updates in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing.
Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation and process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of solar electrical projects. Encourage a culture of learning and professional development within the organization.
