Job Summary :
The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel while maintaining high standards of customer service and profitability.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Overall Management: Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and administration.
Financial Management: This involves budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to ensure the hotel meets its revenue and profit goals. The GM may also be involved in negotiating contracts with suppliers and vendors to optimize costs.
Staff Management: Recruitment, training, and supervision of staff across various departments are key responsibilities. The GM ensures that staff members are properly trained, motivated, and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
Guest Relations: Maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction is crucial for the success of the hotel. The GM ensures that guests' needs are met promptly and effectively, handling complaints and resolving issues as they arise.
Quality Control: The GM monitors the quality of services provided by the hotel, ensuring that cleanliness, maintenance, and overall guest experience meet or exceed expectations.
