Job Summary:
Site Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects. The candidate needs to have combination of technical knowledge, project management skills, and effective communication abilities to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget while meeting quality and safety standards
Job Responsibilities:
Project Planning:
- Collaborate with the project manager and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Participate in project planning activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
Site Preparation:
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather relevant information for construction planning.
- Ensure that the site is prepared according to project requirements, including leveling and foundation preparations.
Construction Supervision:
- Oversee the assembly and installation of pre-engineered building components on the construction site.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure they comply with design specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.
Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the integrity and durability of the pre-engineered building.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any construction defects or issues.
Coordination with Stakeholders:
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to address design-related concerns.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and construction workers to ensure smooth project progression.
Safety Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and standards to create a secure working environment.
- Conduct safety inspections and address any safety concerns promptly.
Problem Solving:
- Identify and resolve construction-related challenges and issues as they arise.
- Work with the project team to find practical solutions to unforeseen problems.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, and quality control records.
- Keep detailed records of construction activities, materials used, and manpower deployed.
Client Interaction:
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns or queries they may have.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering the project within the specified timeframe and meeting quality standards.
Cost Management:
- Assist in controlling project costs by monitoring expenses and adhering to the budget.
- Report any deviations from the budget and propose cost-effective solutions.
Handover and Closure:
- Coordinate the project handover process, ensuring all documentation and approvals are in place.
- Contribute to project closure activities, including final inspections and documentation.
