Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the company's business strategies for the Zimbabwe market, including expansion plans, revenue growth, and market positioning.
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of all supermarket locations, ensuring they meet performance and profitability targets. This includes managing inventory, supply chain, and logistics.
- Financial Management: Manage the financial performance of the company, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control. Make data-driven decisions to optimize financial results.
- Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to attract and retain customers, increase market share, and enhance brand awareness.
- Human Resources: Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of employees. Ensure that staffing levels and employee performance meet company standards.
- Vendor and Supplier Relations: Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and contracts to ensure a steady supply of products at competitive prices.
- Compliance and Regulation: Ensure the company complies with all local and national regulations, including labor laws, health and safety standards, and licensing requirements.
- Customer Service: Focus on enhancing the customer experience and resolving customer issues promptly and effectively.
