Profile of a Sales Head is a critical and responsible for overseeing the sales team and driving revenue growth for the organization. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, leadership, and industry expertise to thrive in a competitive market
Responsibilities:
Sales Team Management:
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Set sales targets and goals for individual team members and the department as a whole.
Provide coaching, guidance, and motivation to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets.
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
Identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential partnerships.
Analyze market trends and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction to drive repeat business and referrals.
Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Sales Performance Monitoring:
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, such as conversion rates, lead generation, and revenue.
Implement data-driven decision-making processes to optimize sales efforts.
Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Prepare and manage the sales department's budget.
Forecast sales revenue and expenses accurately.
Allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
Compliance and Legal Matters:
Ensure the sales team adheres to all industry regulations and legal requirements.
Stay informed about real estate laws and regulations that may affect sales operations.
Marketing Collaboration:
Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective marketing campaigns and sales materials.
Provide input on pricing strategies, promotions, and advertising.
Market Research:
Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and opportunities.
Use market insights to make informed business decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Marketing or Management with 12+ years of Real Estate Sales Experience preferably in Residential Project Sales.
Experience: 12+ years of experience in real estate sales, with a proven track record of success. Atleast 4+ year’s in a leadership or managerial role is required.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the real estate market, including knowledge of local market conditions, property types, and industry trends.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a sales team.
Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software and other sales tools.
Compliance: Knowledge of real estate laws and regulations, as well as a commitment to ethical business practices.
Networking: Strong networking abilities to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry professionals.
Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills to address issues that may arise in the sales process.
