ACCOUNTS & AUDIT -
- Day to day operational responsibility of Accounts & finance.
- Timely closure of all books of accounts and other relevant records ensuring their accuracy to facilitate generation of various reports according to the due dates.
- Monitoring of Daily / Periodic Reconciliation of Bank Accounts, Debtors, Creditors, Inter-company, Inter- branch etc.
- Completion of Audit according to the accounting standards within the stipulated dead line.
FINANCE AND BUDGETING
- Preparation of Budget, Business Plans, Financial Projections and Working Capital Requirements.
- Planning and management of WC
- Forecasting of Financial needs and arranging funds on time.
- Ensure timely collection, payments and optimum utilization of surplus funds.
- Rationalizing utilization of bank facilities.
MIS
- Timely Preparation, evaluation and presentation of various Management Reports viz. Cash Flow forecast, Performance Report, MMAs, Quarterly MAs, Variance Analysis, Ageing, Inventory movement / Controls, Cost Analysis etc. with an objective of presenting a true and fair view of the state of affairs
- Consolidation of accounts and its presentation.
- Periodical computation, analysis and reporting of product cost, variable cost, relative contribution etc.
- Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on operation's efficiency
LEGAL, TAXATION & INSURANCE
- Taxation planning.
- Timely payment and / or refund of VAT, Withholding tax, PAYE, Rates, Rent and all other statutory payments
- Statutory compliance with respect to filing of various returns.
- Attending and completing all Government Audits without attracting additional liabilities.
SYSTEMS & CONTROLS
- Devising, Implementing and monitoring appropriate systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal controls over Finance, Banking, Cash, Overheads, Inventory, Debtors, Creditors, Inter-branch / Company transactions, Fixed Assets etc.
- Implementation of the existing check lists and the suggested internal controls and ensuring that the anomalies are eliminated completely at the earliest.
